The acts of martyrs contain a series of information that allows us to include some martyrs in the categories of voluntary martyrs, respectively quasi-voluntary martyrs. In the category of voluntary martyrs may be included a series of military martyrs from Moesia Secunda who suffered martyrdom Durosturum such as: Passicrates and Valentionis, Julius the veteran, Hersychius, Dasius, Nicandrus and Marcianus and Aemilianus. In the category of quasi-voluntary martyrs may be included a few martyrs form Scythia Minor like: the Argaeus brothers, Narcissus and Marcellinus, Titus and Philus from Tomis, as well as the martyrs Epictetus and Astion from Halmyris. |
