| Abstract | While in Crimea, which means behind of the front line, the 14-th Battalion mountain soldiers, in October 1942, faced some atypical enemies such us: partisans, local poverty, viruses and bacteria's and some local upstarts‘ intrigues. These complex circumstances revealed not only the qualities but also the moral and material deprivation within the 14-th Battalion. |
